Any reference to "we" or "us" in this privacy policy refers to Born Gifted Limited.  We take your privacy and the security of your personal information extremely seriously.  Please read the following privacy policy, which covers in detail the information we collect from you, how we use it to improve your experience and how we keep this information secure.   Please be assured that we strictly comply with new European legislation (General Data Protection Regulation or GDPR) with regards to your personal data.

What data do we collect?

We collect the minimum amount of personal information required to process and fulfil you orders.  This includes names, billing address, delivery address (if different) email address and phone number (we ask for a phone number because sometimes there may be an urgent order or delivery query which we need to contact you about)

We also collect some information relating to visits to our website i.e. the pages that you access, as well as your location, language, browser, and IP address.

We use Google Analytics to measure and track your journey through our website. This is used to understand how visitors use our platforms and, ultimately, to help us deliver a better experience.
We also use cookies which are explained in more detail later in this document.

Where do we store your data?

All personally identifiable data that we collect, and retain, is stored within the European Union.  Personal data is stored in a fully encrypted form to protect against unauthorised access or processing.

What do we do with your data?

We only use your data for a legitimate interest i.e. fulfilment of your order and improvement of the customer experience.  We will never use your details for any marketing purposes unless you have specifically opted in and given us your consent to do so.

In the course of providing our services, we have to share your information in the following ways:

1)    Providing our couriers, or direct dispatch suppliers, with your contact/order details so they can fulfil/deliver your order successfully;

2)    Providing Ekomi our 3rd party review partner, with your email address to allow them to invite you to review your experience using our service, and write product reviews of the items purchased

3)    Providing website analytics companies (Google) with conversion details to monitor our advertising performance
All third party data processors are GDPR compliant.  Please note your data will never be shared with third parties for any direct marketing purposes.

What are your rights regarding this data?

As an individual, you have the right to be informed about our use of your data; access your personal data; rectify your data if it is inaccurate or incomplete; request the deletion of your personal data; restrict processing of your personal data; obtain and reuse your personal data for your own purposes; and to object to processing of your personal data, including for direct marketing or research purposes.
